Hi!  My name is Tommy and I love to travel.

I was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Maryland.  After attending the University of Pittsburgh I moved to Arlington, Virginia – the place I would call home, if I was there.

I’m a smiley, happy-go-lucky, easy going (most of the time haha) 27-year-old exploring the world.  My goal is to learn as much as possible from the people and cultures on this beautiful Earth.

From 2009 to 2015 I worked as a project manager for a U.S. Defense contractor.

In May 2015, I began myfreespiritadventure when I moved to Australia on a Working Holiday visa.

Through this blog I hope to encourage and inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and live their lives to the fullest.

Travel the world!  Jump out of plane!  Move to another city.  You know what your heart desires.  Just follow your heart!
